Summary
An RAF aerial photograph taken in January 1946 shows a military target marker and four circular cropmarks interpreted as the remains of an anti aircraft gun battery. Unfortunately, a later photograph taken in 1946 showed this site had been ploughed and the features lost. The area is known locally as the 'The Bombing Ranges'.

Full description
13 January 1946, 9 July 1946. RAF aerial photography.
Military target marker. Orientated approx. north-to-south, composing a triangle pointing north with extended line from apex and inverted triangle within. Adjacent to four circular features to east, interpreted as anti-aircraft gun emplacements.
Site known locally as 'The Bombing Ranges'.
On RAF aerial photograph 13 January 1946, but ploughed out by 9 July 1946.
