Full description

1996. Metal detecting by [1].
Horse harness pendant with broken loop (S1).
Blazoned by S. Ashley (NAU) in file.
Quaterly 1 and ?4 a lion rampant or/argent.

Found at same time as harness pendant by [2].
Very worn bronze acorn terminal with stub of round-sectioned rod or shank. Medieval but from what type of object is unknown.
Dumb-bell shaped bronze object, rounded section, smoothly waisted. Length 22mm, diameter maximum 10mm, minimum 6mm. Possibly an Iron Age toggle. Suggested by [1] as weight from Roman scourge.
