THE CROPMARKS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE NOW RECORDED AS NHER 45251.

June 1992. Cropmarks of superimposed enclosures.
1. Rounded corner and part of southeast side.
2. Three sides of enclosure with entrance to northeast.
On hilltop, crossed by present field boundaries.

11 February 1996. Site visit. The enclosure occupies a prominent hilltop location, with extensive views in all directions. Bisected by north to south dog-legged field boundary. Area east of this fieldwalked in good conditions; weathered ploughsoil, no crop visible. No finds recovered.

October 1996. Found on surface of ploughed field.
One Roman greyware rim with internal lid seating and frilled exterior.
