Metal detecting between 1995 and 2016 recovered Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval tokens; a post-medieval jetton and Late Bronze Age and Late Iron Age/Roman to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age projectile point or small spearhead; a Late Iron Age/early Roman platform terret; a Roman brooch; an Early Saxon brooch and buckle; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon bridle bit; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval ampullae, a book clasp and copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval book clasp, cloth seal, coin weight, harness mount and a weight.

March-April 1995. Metal detecting. [1] and [5].
Six Roman, two medieval coins. See lists in file.
Lead ampulla, shell, 'R' and Lily; Walsingham.
13th century buckle frame with expanded grooved pin rest.
Medieval belt fitting or mount with cast fleur-de-lis in semi-circular field.
17th century leaf-shaped fastener, 'stiff-leaf' ornament. Three pierced attachment lobes. Hook at narrow end is flattened.
Buckle frame, part of, with traces of ?enamel in elaborate leaf ornament on pin rest. Decoration is reminiscent of Viking period, but metal itself indicates post medieval.

Medieval ewer leg, cast, tapering to narrow foot.
Medieval forked spacer-plate from strap end, circular terminal pierced in centre and projecting animal head pierced transversely to take pendant or hook on counter plate.
Early Saxon buckle ?animal head at each end of pin bar.
Part of Early Saxon small long brooch, narrow head plate, central knob in the round. Single lug on reverse with iron traces, transverse mouldings and engraved lines at each end of bow. Foot missing.
Square bronze coin weight for a spur ryal. James I, 1612 to 25.
