1994 (or earlier). Metal detecting finds. Unknown finder, on land farmed by [1]. Information from [2].
16 Roman, 2 medieval, 2 post medieval coins.

Hooked Dolphin brooch; spring, pin and catchplate missing. Moulded wings with 'reel' and ribs with oblique slashed decoration. Knurled ribs on bow, flanked by arcs of dots. 50 to 100AD.
Bow and foot of very slender Early Saxon cruciform brooch with deep integral catchplate. Old break. Group I. Photograph.
Upper part of Early Saxon girdle hanger with remains of loop. Cast transverse mouldings, punched dots. Old breaks. Photograph.
3 piece medieval strap end. Acorn knob. Cut away trefoil at attachment edge. Very fine part cast, part engraved decoration. Photograph.
Small early post medieval double looped buckle with central iron pin bar (missing).
One object (either a post medieval buckle or one of several post medieval recent objects not recorded) was found in (see Notes). This would not seem to warrant giving that field its own number.

1 rim early medieval ginger jar, 1 base medieval unglazed, 3 body sherds Glazed Grimston.
1 body sherd Late medieval/early post medieval, 1 Glazed Red Earthenware base.
Roman greyware: 96 body sherds, 7 bases, 23 predominantly jar rim, 1 flange ?from mortarium, 1 bead flange bowl rim, 2 dish/bowl rims.
1 Neolithic stone axe (S2).
