Summary

Fieldwalking in 1994 in advance of development in this area recovered prehistoric pot boilers, Roman and medieval pottery sherds, lava quern fragments, a Late Saxon Ringerike style stirrup-strap mount, and a number of post medieval objects. Metal-detecting in the 1990's and in 2012 recovered three medieval coins and three medieval seal matrices.

September-October 1994. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey of extensive proposed development area surrounding Harts Farm (Field 5).
Pot boilers.
1 Roman sherd.
