Summary

In 1973 a fragment of a Roman copper alloy Colchester type brooch, dating to the 1st century, was recovered from this area. In 1975 part of a medieval pot was also recovered here.

Roman brooch fragment (Colchester 1st century type). See drawing (S1).
Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1974.449).

Also found in garden of [1]:
?Medieval pottery ?handle of sandy grey fabric, mottled red and buff, horn shaped, furrowed on outer side. Part of vessel attached.
