Metal detecting here in 1993 and 1996 recovered a lovely gilded bronze medieval belt-mount or casket mount, a number of medieval coins and a single medieval pottery sherd.

1993. Metal detector finds.
Medieval coins. See list in file.
Lovely gilded bronze medieval belt-mount or casket mount with rivet hole in centre, incurved corners. Around centre a relief lozenge with boss at each corner has been made separately and riveted in place. Very unusual. Photograph taken.

One body sherd thickish reduced, probably medieval rather than earlier.
