Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking at this location during 1993-94 recovered a variety of Roman artefacts. Finds included numerous coins, a flue tile fragment, an incomplete armlet and shell gritted ware pottery sherds. This is likely to represent an area of Romano-British settlement.
