Full description

June 1949. Found on Old Hall Farm (E. Rose (NAU))
Matrix seal found of John Brenis or Brewis probably 1327 to 1335. (P. Millicans report)
Arms are 'on a (seme'e) of cross crosslets, a lion rampant crowned, queue fourchee.'
Forked tail was in original grant, early in the reign of Edward III. Later gave place to single tail.
John son of Giles B. John born in 1307 (Inquisitio Post-Mortem). He was first designated a knight in 1335.
