Summary

A Neolithic flaked flint axehead was found in 1962. Metal-detecting in 2019 and 2020 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins; as well as Early Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an Early Bronze Age unidentified object; an Early Bronze Age to post-medieval plain ring; Roman to post-medieval weight; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; as Late Saxon/medieval spindle whorl; a medieval pot mend; medieval/post-medieval cloth seals and a copper alloy vessel fragment, and a thimble.

1 Neolithic chipped flint axehead of glacial flint. See drawing (S1).
Identified by E. B. Green (NCM).
