Full description

1948. Stray Find.
Found near Seamere during gardening:
Several "Mesolithic-type thin flakes". Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1948.54). Information from (S1). Although these flakes are not listed in (S2) they are however listed as Mesolithic blades in R. Jacobi's records (S3). As noted by Jacobi this collection also includes many flakes of probable Neolithic date.

As the exact location of this findspot was not recorded the mapped extent of the record simply indicates the main area of formal gardens at Seamere.

Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 24 February 2014.
