In 1989 to 1991 a hoard of eighty-two silver coins, minted between 1526 and 1643 and buried during the Civil War, were recovered by a member of the public with a metal detector.

1989 to 1991. Found while digging and in molehills with metal detector. [1]
Hoard of eighty-two silver coins (date range Henry VIII, 1526 - 29 to Charles I, 1641-3).
Found in small groups, on five separate occasions.
