Full description

1989. Found in fieldwalking.
Thin butted flaked axe, cutting end damaged in antiquity.
Found with metal detecting.
Copper alloy hooked attachment plate with traces of iron in two rivet holes, ring through hook. ?Sword belt fitting.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) 21 December 1989.
Identifid by W. Milligan (NCM) 25 April 1989.
