A 19th century three storey yellow brick former café, now a shop with a 20th century shop front. On the extreme right is a door to the upper floors. Inside is a fine early 20th century café ceiling and stained glass lights. Under the building is a 19th century cellar extending beneath the pavement and a 16th century cellar off-centre to the right and away from the street line.

April 1986. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
Former cafe now shop with 16th century cellar. 19th century. Yellow brick, roof not visible. Three storeys plus cellar. Eight bays. Late 20th century shopfront. Door to upper floors on extreme right. Sash windows throughout with rubbed brick flat arches. Glazing bars except in the right-hand, first floor three bays. Parapet wall. Fine early 20th century cafe ceiling with moulded plaster acorn and oak-leaf surrounds to the stained glass rectangular lights. The 19th century cellar has one side chamber with a four-centre profile extending beneath the pavement. The 16th century cellar is off-centre to the right and away from the street line. To the south is a large stack with a timber bressumer and later brick blocking to the fireplace. Right-hand stackside doorcase with rectangular fanlight. Central doorway in west wall with a chamfered, pointed arch. The doorway in the north wall has roll-moulded chamfer jambs and a Tudor arch with plain spandrels.
