Metal detecting on this site in 1987 and again in 2011-2012 recovered seven Roman coins, a Roman brooch, a Roman copper alloy finger ring and a large collection of Roman pottery.

Full description

1987.
Six 'sestertii' ending in Postumus, one fibula, and much Roman pottery was found on this site using a metal detector. A. Rogerson interprets 'sestertii' as meaning 'pre-radiate coins'.
Items not seen at NAU. [1].
This information was originally handed in to NAU and sent to Cambridgeshire HER 08488 as the site at that time was in Cambridgeshire. It was returned to NAU when the land was transferred to Norfolk in 1990.
