Name:Undated ditch, post hole and pit, prehistoric worked flints, Bronze Age to post medieval objects

Summary

Metal detecting from the 1980s to the present day has recovered a number of objects from the Prehistoric to the post medieval periods. These include large numbers of worked flints dating to the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods, as well as pottery sherds from the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age periods. Of particular interest is an Iron Age coin and a 9th century bronze strap end of unusual form. Fieldwork also recorded a ditch and post hole, though the exact date of these features was uncertain, as well as a medieval pit.
