Summary
Metal detecting and fieldwalking in 1989 recovered a range of objects, including a large number of lead spheres and cylinders, undated but probably medieval or post medieval fishing net weights. Also found were Roman, medieval and post medieval coins, Late Bronze Age, Early Iron Age, medieval and post medieval pottery fragments and part of a Roman brooch.

Before July 1989. Metal detecting and surface finds. The Haugh, World's End.
Grid reference supplied by finder. Site surrounded by water (Site NHER 13517) on three sides.
Large number of lead spheres and cylinders, perhaps fishing or net weights.
Post medieval metalwork.
Roman, medieval, post medieval coins.
Late Bronze Age/early Iron Age, medieval, post medieval sherds.
