3 May 1989. Found with metal detector.
Very corroded/worn Roman coin.
Early Saxon group IV cruciform brooch minus side knobs with small simple lapets with foot broken in antiquity just above animal head and upper part of foot rounded so that it could continue in use. (S1)
Identified by E. B. Green (NCM) and compiled by W. Milligan (NCM), 5 June 1989.
