4 and 18 November 1987. Fieldwalking.
Found north of footpath, south-east of Shepherds Barn:
1 Mesolithic flint flake. See finder's drawing (S1).
Medieval pottery sherds.
Medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds (late medieval/transitional).
1 lava quern fragment.
Flint identified by J. J. Wymer (NAU). Compiled by W. Milligan (NCM) 19 October 1987.
