Full description

July 1987. Metal detector find. On small area of green. 'The triangle with the seat on it', at crossroads. Exact location needs to be checked on ground.
Part of bronze strap end with cast relief ornament, zoomorphic decorations. Possibly Early Saxon in date.

Strap-end found and identified as Early Saxon is of type redated to the 10th century (Borre-style) by [2] and [3].
