Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 to 1987 along the line of Kirby Cane bypass recovered a thin scatter of prehistoric worked flints over the whole field. A single sherd of late medieval or transitional ware pottery was recovered during construction work.

Winter 1986-1987. Fieldwalking along line of Kirby Cane bypass, west of Larden Lane. [1]
Thin scatter of worked flints over whole field.
