Summary

Fragments of medieval pottery found during fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey indicate that this is a medieval settlement site adjacent to the Setchey Road. The site is probably contemporary with the medieval settlement site identified at NHER 23204.

Well weathered soil, young cereal.

General scatter odd sherds medieval pottery

Context 2 at 6606 1476
Concentration medieval pottery sparse to moderate but no bone or shell noted, on edge of road. 36m northwest to southeast x 32m northeast to southwest max at 6.1m OD.
