Summary

In 1987 a hoard of Iron Age coins, comprising 42 gold coins and a single silver coin, was recovered. In 1988 a further 40 gold coins and two silver were also recovered.

March 1987 - March 1988. Metal detecting.
Iron Age coin hoard comprising 82 gold and 3 silver coins.
Several sherds of Iron Age pottery in close proximity to the hoard.
One fragment of post medieval shoe buckle.
