Full description

April 1955. Listed, Grade II.
Whitehouse Farmhouse.
About 1700 altered about 1800. Brick, rendered and colourwashed, black glazed pantiles. Lobby entrance, altered. South facade two storeys, four bays. Central 20th century extension reusing 18th century sashes, as are ground floor windows main block. Bell based gable roof. Offcentre ridge chimneystack and internal gable chimneystack to left, former about 1700 latter 20th century. Interior has chamfered cruciform bridging beams in east room ground floor. Roof of two tiers butt purlins, collars and cusped windbracing; secondary rafters pegged to purlins.
