Full description

April 1986. Cantley Stream Culvert under new A11.
1 red stained flint flake, Neolithic.
Identified by J.J. Wymer (NAU).
Lead weight for weighing things down and lead wedge post medieval.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
W. Milligan (NCM) 30 April 1986.

Spring 1986. From new road drainage ditches.
Natural flint flake retouched as scraper prehistoric or later.
Rim of 3rd century mortarium probably Colchester.
Pot boiler.
Animal bone.
