Summary

Metal-detecting between 1985 and 2018 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; aswell as Roman, Early Saxon and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooch; Early Saxon harness mount; Middle/Late Saxon gaming piece; a Late Saxon to medieval prick spur; a medieval spindle whorl, and seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval vessel fragment and ring; and a post-medieval musket ball and strap-end.
