Details in file.

(S1) identifies this as a Middle Saxon settlement site that continued to be occupied into the medieval period. The site is close to a road and river crossing which may explain the continuity of occupation on this site, unlike other Middle Saxon sites in Loddon. The site was apparently abandoned by the late medieval period.
See (S1) for more details.
