Full description

1984. On edge of lake in park. Found with metal detecting.
Coin of Constantine. Barbarous radiate 270 to 280s.
Openwork plate brooch 2nd century (photo NCM) (wrongly identified see below) (possibly more coins also).
Identified by A. Gregory (NAU).

Brooch found in 1984 reidentified as Viking pierced lozenge-shaped brooch cf. Wangford Suffolk (S1).

Late medieval copper alloy finger ring inscribed III ?M (or crown?). Flattened D section.
Interior diameter 17mm.
