Summary

Metal-detecting between 1984 and 2014 recovered Iron Age, Roman, medieval, and post-medieval coins as well as undated, Late Iron Age/Roman, Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undated metalworking debris and an unidentified object; a Late Iron Age/Roman unidentified object; a Roman brooch; a Late Saxon harness fitting; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant and sword pommel; a medieval/post-medieval rowel spur and post-medieval weights, a pocket sundial fragment, cloth seal, finger ring, gaming piece, seal matrix, spur and a fragment from a sword belt mount.

Full description

September 1984. Found with metal-detector.
Medieval gilt bronze buckle plate with foliage decoration.
Post-medieval large lead cloth seal unstamped; bronze decorated.
?Buckle fragment; lead weight or hemispherical counter; lead sheet with at least six holes, ?waste; bronze gilt disc button.
