Summary

A semicircular ditch with an approximate diameter of 24m has been noted at this location. The ditch has a dark infill and surrounds a sand and gravel mound. It is possible this feature is a Bronze Age round barrow, but this is by no means certain.

Full description

Semicircular ditch approximately 24m (80ft) diameter, 1.8-2.7m (2-3yds) wide, 0.3m (1ft) deep, 6.1m (20ft) gap, on mound of sand and gravel 0.9m (3ft) high.
Ditch has dark infill. (From NCM map).
Visible on Unit aerial photographs taken on 5 August 1977. No sign in crop of young cereal.
