Full description

Mortar position, gun cupola, north of Hall.
Formerly in remarkable state of survival.
Usual concrete post surrounded by circular dome metal structure with rectangular extension to one side.
Dome had sliding section for gun to emerge.
Ring on top for lifting by crane.
Demolished May 1983.
Parts lying in heap by drive.
