Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1983 recovered a large quantity of medieval pottery sherds along with pieces of slate, bone and brick. These finds came from the south side of a roddon spread towards an undated trackway.

Full description

12 March 1983.
Abundant medieval pottery.
Some slate, more bone and abundant modern debris, some brick. On south side of roddon spread towards drove and undoubtedly removed in part by construction of modern house.
To east, close to drove, medieval pottery finds replaced by post medieval/modern debris. 60m diameter at 2.4-2.7m (8-9ft) OD.
