An oval enclosure visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs almost certainly represents the boundary of a plantation which formerly stood within Hoveton Park (NHER 30514). The plantation is depicted on historic Ordnance Survey maps.

Positive cropmarks. Ovoid enclosure (possibly a park feature).

The oval enclosure described above, which is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2), almost certainly equates to an oval plantation depicted on historic Ordnance Survey maps, including the 1st edition 6 inch (S3). Consequently it has not been mapped by the NMP.
