1981.Found with metal detector in field off Jew's Lane.
Penny of Edward I, 1280-1.
North class IIIg, no.1022 (in good condition).
Side fleurs fig.29.
Tall neck and smallish bust.
Shaped crown fig.27.
Abbreviation marks = crescents.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) 15 April 1981.
NCM map list adds 'Medieval English jetton' - no other details.
