Full description

March 1981. In fieldwalking after ploughing.
Roman sherds. Finder's no.206/b.
Identified by W. Milligan 30 March 1981.

Above sherds were given to NCM and identified as follows.
3rd-4th century greyware, including grooved rim bowl and bead and flanged bowl.
Nene valley colour-coated ware.
4th century Oxfordshire slip ware, red.
Other finds were flint flakes.
Flint-gritted sherd, perhaps Late Bronze Age.
Identifications by A. Gregory (NAU).
