Summary

At sometime prior to 1975 a collecion of Neolithic flint implements were found on the Pinkney Estate at Tatterford. Tool types identified included a leaf arrowhead, a knife, a scraper, a broken axehead and a complete axehead.

Pre 1975. Found on the Pinkney Estate at Tatterford. Surface finds.
Flint tools.
Collection not seen because not kept separate and not necessarily retained.
Leaf arrowhead (4A).
Knife (1E).
Scraper (9G), (10G), (13-15G).
Broken axe (5C).
Axe (5B) 'found by M. Harrowing' (name or occupation?).
