Full description

1975? Field northwest of Manor Farm. Metal detecting.
Copper alloy buckle, D-shaped loop with tongue looped over bar; width 58mm..

Just to southeast of this site was found an 18th century? tobacco-stopper in form of closed-ended tube, used as tamper and cast for pocket corkscrew, with plain signet ring attached as handle.
S. Margeson (NCM) 21 July 1981 (to NAU March 1983).

This site falls within metal detecting scatter NHER 25765.
