Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 2001 and 2019 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and post-medieval jettons as well as undated and Late Iron Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated copper alloy weight; Late Iron Age/Roman brooches including an example possibly used into the Early Saxon period; Roman brooches, bracelets, a furniture fitting, buckle, finger ring, harness pendant, spoon and part of a finger-ring; Roman/Early Saxon tweezers and plate brooch reused as a pendant; an Early Saxon ?wrist clasp and cruciform brooch; a Middle Saxon to Late Saxon hooked tags; Middle Saxon to medieval hooked tags; a Late Saxon furniture fitting and strap-end; Late Saxon/medieval barrel padlock, box mount and copper alloy vessel fragment; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval suspension unit or holder for a lamp or censer, a scabbard, and a thimble; and a post-medieval unidentified object, rowel spur and strap fitting.

National Grid Reference amended, whole field centred at grid reference [2], though mostly northern part.
Five Roman coins.
Post medieval coin.
