Full description

Early 1980. From same field as NHER 16243; surface find in weeding potatoes.
Neolithic flint axe, brown, finely chipped all over; long and narrow with straight edged butt. Some cortex on back. Polished at blade end. Broken off at butt end. Length 9.5cm, 5.7cm wide at blade, 3cm at butt. Maximum thickness 1.7cm. Held by King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1980.114.2).
