Full description

Ice house. In wood. (NB grid reference may not be exact as location is hard to specify due to wood).

17 May 1979. Visit.
Despite name of wood, this is an ice house and not an ice well. Dome and entrance tunnel of brick well preserved; trees grow on mound. Interior filled with branches.
Probably contemporary with Hall (about 1800).
