Summary

A medieval parish church with a late 13th century cruciform plan and 15th century alterations. The church was restored in the late 1920s. A memorial inside the church commemorates nine people who drowned in a boating accident in 1799.

Full description

Cruciform church, part ruined.
Supposedly founded in 1248, present building has some Early English features but is mainly of about 1300.
Alterations about 1400 and ruination in 18th century.
Collection of good memorials.
Churchyard wall and war memorials also listed.
Coin found in churchyard.
