Summary
The timber-framed barn here is of 17th-19th century date but reuses older timbers. However, the present farmhouse here is a modern construction. The 1836 Ordnance Survey map of Wendling marks this as the site of a hall, possibly indicating that this may once have been a manorial site.

Barn, timber framed. Considered to be early 19th century reusing older timbers.
Norfolk Archaeological Research Group survey (in file) 1979.
Conclusions reached that date was somewhere between 17th-19th centuries. Queenpost and collar roof.

1836 1st edition 1in OS marks this farm as 'hall'.
The present farmhouse is modern.
