Full description

Very fine farmhouse, chequered brick, dated 1716 with IP in black bricks.
3 bays, 2 storeys with moulded stringcourse (2 on gable walls).
Gables shaped (not stepped, as Pevsner).
Central 4-in-one chimney.
Blocked doorway on west front very near a window, probably inserted later then blocked again.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) 7 December 1978.

Extended at rear in 1825.
