Full description

1957. Poplar Road. In digging for sewerage scheme at depth of 1.2m (4') in clay.
Cylindrical clay loom weight originally identified as Late Bronze Age but in 1972 reassessed as medieval or post medieval.

1960. From garden of Ashley house in Poplar Avenue (There is no Poplar Road in Heacham. This site is Poplar Avenue and the first find must refer to this).
