Summary

In about 1974 a possible barrow was seen here. However, a visit to the site in 1977 showed that the location was covered by modern housing and that no trace of the barrow survived.

Around 1974. Field observation.
Possible barrow seen by informant and pupil.

April 1977. Field observation.
Could not be found, probably destroyed by housing.

Nothing is marked at this location on early Ordnance Survey maps of the area or on the North Wootton Tithe map (S1).
