Summary
The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Wheatcroft Farm, Bradwell. A geophysical survey undertaken in 2013 confirmed the survival of sub-surface remains associated with these cropmarks.

The centre point of the site has been altered from TG 5087 0249 to TG 5087 0248.
September 2006. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs to the east of Wheatcroft Farm, Bradwell (S1-2). The ring ditch is centred on TG 5087 0248 and is 29m in diameter. The ditch varies in width from 1.5-2.5m. The monument is located just above the 10m contour and overlooks the endpoint of a valley and former channel to the southwest.

Magnetometer survey of proposed development area.
This survey identified a circular ditched feature that almost certainly corresponds with this cropmark ring-ditch. This feature is well-defined, apparantly continuous and contains two pit-like anomalies.
