Summary

In 1977 seven Roman pottery sherds and a honestone were recovered from this area. Metal detector work on the site prior to 28 May 2008 has uncovered a range of metal objects dating from Middle/Late Saxon to post medieval.

Found seven Roman sherds and honestone (identified by A. Rogerson (NAU)) at TG 0146 1817, Context 1. [1]

Before 28 May 2008. Metal detecting. Extended to the area reoughly coincident with NHER 51066.
Middle/late Saxon, late Saxon, late Saxon/Medieval, medieval and post-medieval metal objects. 1 probably late Saxon sherd, 1 post-medieval coin and jetton.
