April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a ring ditch can be seen and have been mapped. It seems likely that it is of Bronze Age date, but this is not certain. It is centred on NGR TF7286 4145 and is about 30 to 35m across. This ring ditch is only visible on the 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1 to (S3).
It is possible that in the centre of the ring ditch there is the cropmark of some sort of pit showing up, however this is not very clear and may be entirely due to the underlying geology.
H. Clare (NMP), 26 April 2002.
