Summary

Aerial photography of this site recorded the soilmark of a possible building, forming a hollow square with a small extension to the west and a larger one to the south. When the site was visited the landowner said that it was an infilled pit.

Full description

Just south of sudden narrowing in railway cutting.
Soilmark of building, forming hollow square with small extension to west and larger one to south.
Aerial photographs checked by E. Rose (NAU), 30 November 1976.

Field under crop when visited by P. Wade-Martins (NAU) in september 1978, but informant told him this was an infilled pit.
This seems strange to writer from the shape.
